The new car has been built, and is currently awaiting shipment. Honestly, it has been a fun experience… and the Mini site is hilarious – if you know how to read it (in that dry British wit, at times). I have slowly been telling people about the car. My sister, having gone up with me, obviously knew, and Mary Catherine was also aware of the purchase (she was a bit surprised when I said “Yes, I got one”, but she also knew that was a distinct possibility when I told her about the trip.)

Other individuals that I have told, I have found it a bit more of a challenge to really explain or describe, and really all I can easily tell them is the color and basic features – but it’s more fun to “show” than “tell” anyway… and before long, it’ll be time for some fun.

I’m thinking a road trip may be in order….
