The weekend is almost here
Not long now, never fear.

I could try to wax more poetic, but that would be silly at this point. I want to go home, work on my office (cleaning), and writing, and generally just veg for part of the weekend (“veg” being used more to mean “stay home” as opposed to “travel forth and get little done”.

Unfortunately, I will have to travel a short distance to a funeral – one of my wife’s great-uncles passed away last night after fighting several health issues for more than a year. The major significance is that this great-uncle lived across the street from my in-laws, and as such, maybe about a few hundred yards from where we live now.

Services will likely be some time this weekend, but as of this writing, I have not heard the details.

Not a rosy, happy post… but this shall conclude post #99…

** Edit, 2-12-07: I found out shortly after posting the above that services would be Monday (today), so I found myself scrambling at the end of the day asking for today off to attend services. Did the services last all day? Not hardly, but they were right in the middle of the day, and it was just easier to take the whole day instead of working for about two hours, then leave for about four hours, and then returning for the remaining tweo to three hours.

I used the remaining time to take care of some other things around the house – and I am happy to announce that I have made a very large dent in the “pile o’ stuff” that is the “spare bedroom”.
Yeah! I have also switched (for now) from NFS:U, to Mechwarrior (which I had started months ago, but tabled, since I was still working “funky hours” at the time.

TTFN… and we shall be logging 100 tomorow!
